Tenix is pleased to announce the Tenix Boreal Travel Contract, a new agreement with Boreal Travel AS to deploy Tenix components and a complete fleet management system across their fleet of 82 buses and 39 electric cars.
As part of the Tenix Boreal Travel Contract, all vehicles will be equipped with advanced Tenix technology. While the buses are already in operation, the full solution will be retrofitted to ensure seamless integration and improved fleet performance.
The Tenix Boreal Travel Contract builds on a successful partnership that began with a pilot project in 2020. This expanded agreement marks a significant milestone, extending Saga Tenix solutions to Boreal’s entire fleet.
The buses will be equipped with the Tenix Vehicle Gateway, driver login system, and Tenix Bus platform, along with several integrated sub-products designed to optimize fleet management, operational efficiency, and data insights.
With the Tenix Boreal Travel Contract, Tenix continues to strengthen its position in Norway, expanding the adoption of its fleet management solutions across the public transport sector.
The partnership reflects a broader shift in the transport industry toward data-driven fleet operations and sustainable mobility. By equipping Boreal Travel’s fleet with intelligent systems, Saga Tenix enables real-time monitoring, improved route planning, and more efficient vehicle utilization. This is particularly relevant as transport operators face increasing demands for cost efficiency, reduced emissions, and higher service reliability.
A key component of the Tenix solution is its ability to centralize data across different vehicle types, including both traditional buses and electric cars. Through a unified platform, Boreal Travel can gain actionable insights into driver behavior, energy consumption, maintenance needs, and operational performance. This not only improves day-to-day operations but also supports long-term strategic decision-making.
The contract further highlights the importance of scalable technology in modern fleet management. As Boreal continues to expand and modernize its fleet, the Tenix platform provides the flexibility to integrate new vehicle types and functionalities without disruption. This future-proof approach ensures that the investment delivers value over time.
In addition, the implementation of the driver login system enhances accountability and safety by ensuring that vehicle usage is properly tracked and managed. Combined with the Tenix Vehicle Gateway, this creates a robust digital infrastructure that supports both compliance and operational transparency.
From a sustainability perspective, the Tenix Boreal Travel Contract plays a role in supporting the transition to greener transport solutions. By optimizing the performance of electric vehicles and reducing unnecessary fuel consumption in buses, the system contributes to lower emissions and a reduced environmental footprint.
Overall, the contract represents a strategic step forward for both Saga Tenix and Boreal Travel AS, strengthening their collaboration and setting a benchmark for fleet management innovation in Norway’s public transport sector.
