Frequently Asked Questions

Got a different question? Just contact us and ask.

Which plan is right for me?

We’ll help you find the package that matches your needs. Whether you just want simple charge monitoring or advanced depot management and insights, there’s a Tenix plan that fits now, and room to grow later.

Can I start with a basic package and upgrade later?

Absolutely. Start with Charge Core and add more features whenever you’re ready.

What integrations are available with scheduling systems?

Today, we provide direct connections with Hastus, IVU, and Consat. If your scheduling platform supports API integration, Tenix can usually connect with it as well, making our solution adaptable to a wide range of operational environments.

How does Tenix integrate?

Tenix uses an API-driven, vendor-agnostic approach that allows it to exchange data seamlessly with scheduling platforms.

Timetables, vehicle assignments, and operational constraints flow into Tenix to guide charging plans, while charging status and availability are sent back to the scheduling system.

This two-way integration ensures charging is always synchronized with service schedules and can easily adapt if the underlying scheduling platform changes.

Does Tenix Charge work with any charger or vehicle brand?

Tenix works across all chargers that support OCPP 1.5, OCPP 1.6 or 2.x and vehicle types, so you’re never locked into one brand.

How does Tenix help reduce energy costs

Tenix automatically shifts charging to cheaper hours, balances loads, and avoids peak power hours wherever possible, helping operators save up to 50% on energy bills.

How does Tenix do load balancing?

Our software spreads available power across all chargers in real time, protecting your grid and making sure vehicles are ready on time.

If you need flexibility to reduce capacity certain hours of the day, due to, for example, a bus washing machine, we are able to adjust your charging capacity accordingly.

Is Tenix suitable for multi-depot operations?

Yes. In fact, Tenix was built for operators managing complex, multi-depot fleets with mixed chargers and vehicles.

Can I choose Tenix Fleet or Tenix Maintenance as a stand-alone solution?

Yes. Both can be used independently for electric and mixed fleets, though they’re even more powerful when combined with Tenix Charge.

Do I need any special hardware to run Tenix?

No extra hardware is required. Tenix connects to your existing chargers, vehicles, and in-vehicle hardware.

How long does it take to implement Tenix Charge at my depot?

Setup is quick and straightforward. Most operators are live within days, supported every step of the way by our expert operations team.
