The UK is a growing market for electric buses and trucks, and to capitalize on this growth, Tenix is now establishing its own office in the country. David Rooney is hired and has started as Sales Director for the UK and Ireland.
“The bus and truck industries in the UK are rapidly evolving with a strong shift towards green initiatives. Norway is a global leader in bus electrification and the necessary infrastructure, and Tenix offers unique products and expertise in this market. In response to the significant growth in electric buses and trucks, we are now establishing our own office in the UK,” says Torbjørn G. Krøvel, CEO at Saga Tenix.
Saga Tenix AS is a Norwegian IT company that has been providing smart solutions for buses and trucks since 2012. Over the last four to five years, the company has developed Tenix Charge, a leading system for charging professional vehicle fleets. The company has offices in Norway, Sweden, and the Netherlands, and is now expanding into the UK.
David has over 20 years of experience in the bus industry in the UK and joins from his previous role as Business Development Director at First Bus. He will now be responsible for growth in this market and holds the title Sales Director for UK and Ireland.
“Tenix has a unique technology that has already gained traction with a large customer base across numerous countries. I look forward to continuing this work and developing the market to create a forward-looking, sustainable bus industry in the UK,” says David.
