Tenix expands into Belgium as LETEC selects Tenix Charge for electric bus depots across Wallonia

Tenix, the Norwegian charge management platform behind one of Europe’s largest electric bus rollouts, has been selected by LETEC to manage charging across 17 depots in Wallonia, Belgium, supporting 400 electric buses as the network electrifies through 2030. The agreement marks Tenix’s entry into the Belgian market and its latest win in a growing string of European contracts.

LETEC evaluated Tenix’s platform against the demands of one of Belgium’s most ambitious electrification programmes, and chose a system already trusted by some of Europe’s most advanced electric bus networks. The rollout begins with two depots, Robermont and Tilleur, the latter due to go live shortly, before extending progressively across all 17 depots as the programme continues toward 2030. The delivery includes advanced smart charging and energy management in addition to integration with route management systems and SAP.

What Tenix Delivers

Tenix Charge optimises every depot’s charging operation in real time, balancing the day’s route schedule, available power capacity, and live electricity prices through smart charging algorithms built specifically for public transport operations. For LETEC, that means every bus is ready on time, lower energy costs, longer battery life, and fewer manual interventions for depot staff, with full visibility across the operation as more depots come online.

Because Tenix Charge is hardware-agnostic and works across charging equipment from any manufacturer, LETEC keeps full control of its supplier choices as its electric fleet grows, rather than being locked into a single vendor ecosystem.

Tenix is delivering the rollout in partnership with Softcom Technologies, a leading Swiss digital solutions provider with established experience in the mobility sector. Softcom brings deep local integration expertise to the project and will support LETEC through delivery and rollout across all 17 depots.
